A well earned treat for playing outside at two afternoon playtimes this week! This is the first time he’s managed this since being in Year 1.
Back in September at the start of Year 1, Franklin struggled to go outside without becoming unsettled and getting very upset. It could have easily been all the changes he was processing and coping with that caused it. Lunchtime play he was fine, but the morning and afternoon he was distressed.
This quickly became a routine and he finds it extremely difficult to then break that routine.
Perseverance has paid off though and he’s managed 2 afternoon plays out already this week. Whoop! 🌟 Hopefully it continues 🤞
